Children’s book with Cherry Tree in title. Read in early-mid 1990s?

I read a children’s book in grade school about a girl who would climb the neighbors cherry tree. I think I read it in the early-mid 90’s.
I’m really not sure what the plot was. I think the main character wrote about what she saw at the neighbors or something? Does this sound familiar to anyone?
