I read this book when I was in 7th/8th grade I believe, somewhere in the 2008-2010 range. I remember it as being a YA fiction book with a green cover with a bird on it, or a girl with a long brown braid. The main character is a girl in love with Lancelot, who is in love with Guinevere, who is marrying Arthur. I believe the main character has an older brother, and he is best friends with another Knight of the Round Table character, who is in love with the mian character, but she doesn't realize until the end of the story. They are at war with the Anglo Saxons and are traveling back to the kingdom? On this journey, the main character and Guinevere are captured by the enemy, and the main character sacrifices herself so Guinevere can escape. She is shot by an arrow during her escape and is found by her people, who save her. That is the most that I can remember. If anyone knows what I am talking about, that would be amazing!
