Book Lovers question

I'm a big enemies to lovers sucker but authors just be doing a bit too much into this trope like I think that enemies to lovers best suit in romantasy and mafia type books but not in rom-com or any modern day book cuz they be just having a bad first expression and deciding 'Im gonna hate this person for absolutely no big reason UWU'. AUTHORS PUH-LEASE DO BETTAAUURR
