Review
Kind of a sweet forced proximity romance. Strangers to lovers to enemies to forced in stay in the same house which of course leads back to friends and lovers. Story was fairly predictable but I didn't mind.
Very exciting! I don't think in all my years I been on a winning SS team. This has been an awesome team!

Review: I really enjoyed this book. Connor is a jerk at first giving Abby a very hard time because he thinks she and his brother are dating. Eventually he finds out the truth and wants Abby for his "one month only" scenario that he does with every woman. It was so much fun to witness Abby changing Connor's outlook. The one downside of this book was that it is a cliffhanger but the author does explain that before the book starts. I'll definitely read on to see how this progresses.

On Juniper Jones' 46th birthday, her life slowly falls apart. Luckily she gets a notice of an inheritance from a grandmother that she had thought had been long dead. Required to visit Miracle Bay, Juniper finds a ready made home, job and community if she chooses to stay. Unfortunately she also finds a dead body and must help solve the crime to determine what happened.
Love that Juniper is the type of witch to get her powers from menopause. Seems like there should be a positive there. Miracle Bay is full of fun characters and the writing is fine enough. It may be fun to continue the series and see what happens next.

Review:
This is a horror book about a group of friends that perform a seance, without realizing that they've brought something through. I really wanted to like this more. But over time I've found I'm picky when it comes to possession stories. While there were creepy/unsettling moments I didn't care for the book overall. I felt like V. Castro was a little preachy I don't think the message of the story is bad, I just don't think it needs to be shoved down the reader's throat. I don't know that I'll read something from V. Castro again.
