Oh wow. This went straight into my Top 10 All Time Favourite Romances. I'm so, so in love with this book.
Beautifully written, perfectly paced, great settings (I've never been to Melbourne, but both London and Berlin felt wonderfully real and were clearly written by someone familiar with these cities), and above all, stellar character development.
The lovestory is sweet, yes, but never too cheesy or picture perfect - or over the top nonsensically angst-/drama-laden, either.
It's a gorgeous, complex, complicated, at times frustrating, utterly engrossing second chance romance between well-crafted, flawed yet likable (even when one wants very urgently to shake some sense into them - Casey, you idiot!) characters that feel like real people, with all the messiness and human failings that entails. And it's not just the protagonists - all the characters have depth and substance to them. Clearly, everybody needs a Jaz in their lives.
Thoroughly enjoyed every moment of this. Highly recommended!

What i love most are the jockes they ate the funniest especially Tod's who knew that aa reaper had such a sence of humor. There was plenty of supence and heartache as well, Kaylee is a heroine with a backbone and she should be give kidos for her courage and inner strength. I love banter between the the two Hudson brothers and i also love that there is Tod and Kaylee everywhere in this series.

Review: This book actually ends in a cliffhanger which kind of pisses me off. The only book in the series that ends like that and it's got to be the one that doesn’t have a book after it so I can jump right in. Plus, once again, the MCs spend the majority of the book apart playing phone tag. I love the mystery solving aspect of the stories but I want to see these boys grow and strengthen their relationship too! I guessed the bad guy pretty early on but the ending left me completely confused. Book 6 needs to hurry up so I can get answers!

Fastpaced military sci-fi with lots of action and a little romance. The dystopian setting is interesting and well developed, as are the characters, who are easy to get attached to in a brutal, high stakes world where that might not always be wise. Intriguing plot, great character development, plenty of thrills - an engrossing and entertaining read that leaves the reader eagerly awaiting its sequel.

This was a delightf read and i loved all the banter and wit. The main characters were interesting and quirky ( in a good way ) they worked well together and you wanted them to get their HEA and i found that it had beauty and beast fibes. There was also some mysteries/danger/and intrigue that kept me glued to the pages.
I'm here! We had shitty weather all yesterday and my phone reception and home wifi were completely crap. I couldn't get online and stay online long enough to do anything. I'll post my Completion now so we can roll then make the reviews post after work

Review: This entire series has been absolutely PHENOMENAL. Especially on audio. Although Moth still remains my favorite this book is a close second. The MCs are just so smooshy together!!😍😍 The last part of the book broke my fucking heart though. I'm very glad it ended on a happy note because I don't think I'd ever recover! Highly recommended

The first book was not bad, and I couldn't resist when I had the opportunity to grab a signed copy of this one when Diane Duane was a guest at last year's Finncon. Here, the focus shifts onto Segnbora, swordswoman and sorceress, who forges a fascinating bond with a dragon. For the most part, I enjoyed this one more than the first... and then we got to the (view spoiler) scene that soured me on the book - and that was before the narrative required Segnbora to (view spoiler) in a scene that frankly made me throw up in my mouth a little. Really, really wish Duane hadn't felt the need to take the story there.["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>

The way this author writes her romances are just magical. You can never go wrong with one of her books and you can get sucked into right from the start. I learned that when i pick up one of her books that i will get addicted to it but, i will find so compelling that i won't be able to put it down. Her stories are the epitome of what nakes a romance story supuber . So much intensity and passion, and a love story to break your heart. A searing tale of desire, determination, and fighting for your love

Review: Light hearted and cute. Enjoyable but ultimately forgettable. I liked that the MCs jumped right into a FWB scenario without much gay panic. The scene where Miles comes out to his parents was a little emotional 😢. Ultimately I did enjoy this and it makes me want to read more of the series

My least favourite in the series so far. Just didn't get sucked in, didn't greatly care for either of the protagonists and wasn't invested in the romance. One of the things that I love most about these books is the special charm of Nocturne Falls and its myriad denizens, an element that is largely absent in this installment as the majority of the book is spent following Kora and Greyson on a magical scavenger hunt across Europe. Hopefully the next one will a) stick closer to home and b) feature characters I'm more interested in.

I loved and it was so easy to get immersed into this fantastic world of medivela scotland. I find that Monica MCcarty just makes this period of time come alive in so many aspects. This journey was an absorbing adventure with intrigue and danger wither it was in the forefront or in the background. In the end i found it to be a romance that is rich in its history, and deep in its chemistry and vivid in emotions.

Review: Enjoyed this one for the most part. The "witty banter" started to get a little old. Not every single character had to respond with snark and sarcasm every single time they spoke. It kind of made every character feel like they had the same personality. Let's hope book 2 doesn't have the same type of forced humor otherwise I'll be disappointed

Great premise, and I love a good time travel story... but oh, what a tedious read this was. All three of the protagonists are bland, useless and utterly interchangeable, and we're treated to every last trivial thought and conversation of theirs - of which there are exasperatingly many. The pace dragged, the story doesn't really seem to go anywhere for the longest time, and I spent the entire read in alternating states of extreme boredom, extreme annoyance, or a mixture of both. I rather suspect the second part will go back to the library unread.

Review: I couldn't put this book down. I had plans to wait until the audiobooks came out to listen to it but sometimes I like to skim a tiny bit before spending money on an aidio. When I started skimming it quickly went from skimming a little bit to starting over and reading the entire thing. The MCs were both so flawed and were just trying to figure it all out... their past, present, future, sexuality, purpose, mental illness, etc. Too bad they both were so bad at communicating. Both trying to read the other's mind without actually conversing and it was just a disaster. What starts out as animosity and egging each other on turns into something really sweet by the end. Highly recommended

Oh, this is a difficult one to rate. I've loved all of Natasha Pulley's books to date, to the point that any new work of hers is an unquestioned autobuy by now, but with this one, I can't unreservedly claim the same. There are aspects of the worldbuilding that are questionable, views espoused by some of the characters that are appalling (which is, however, the point, no? You're not supposed to applaud Gale's rhetoric and political stance, you're supposed to find them as repelling and despicable as January does. Do we really need to stick a "the fictional characters' views are not necessarily the same as the author's" note on every book now?), but on the whole I was certainly riveted, even while I wanted to scream in frustration, applaud the antagonist, and strangle assorted characters. There's a good message in this story, though at times it is expressed clumsily. The world is not perfect (nor is it meant to be - this isn't a utopia, people!), nor perfectly thought through, but it is unique and interesting - as, to me, is this book.
