I only have 4 hrs left in my book. I have been listening all day. It is definitely not going as i thought but still overall good.
I also started with my books. Change of plans for me, I was not able to find Fish Swimming in Dappled Sunlight so reading Leonard and Hungry Paul for the same task
I have about another hour left in my first book but I’m hosting a party tonight so will have to put it down until after.
I've got just under 2 hours to go in my book. No more hillbillies after this. I was reading Deliverance before I started my toppler book Bull Mountain. I must have picked them up in an Audible sale or daily deal. I'm just going to make some supper, and then I'll get to my book.
I finished my first book. I added it to the reporting thread as well as the points on the spreadsheet. I am going to start the second book now :)
I finished my book as well and have updated the spreadsheet. I'll start my second book after a bit of a break.
I finished my book and have no idea how to add it to the spreadsheet. I can ask my h for help tomorrow. I have added it to the reporting thread. Working on the next book until I crash.
Congratulations on finishing your first books @Janice and @Ammee I have been reading all morning. It’s coming up to lunch time now.
I added your points for you Marnie. To record your finished book, you just need to add the 10 points in the last column. The formulas built it will total all the points. Right now, we're at 30.
I started The Burning which was on my TBR but I only picked it because it had a fence on the cover. It reminds me a bit of Tana French and I just checked there are 11 books in this series. Laughing because I think I may have reversed Toppled myself
I crawled into bed last night and started by kindle book, Coyote Waits. I will start my audiobook, The Strangers shortly.

These topplers have a tendency to do that. 🤣
I have finished my second book and started the third. Since this book is from 1996 the audio of the the audio book is not the best. It should still be a good read though. At this rate I may be able to read more than I was thinking.
Finished another one. The competitive part of me wants to go straight into another but I may need to take a tiny break before jumping into the next
I finished my second book and added it to the spreadsheet woohoo. Had to get help finding how to drop the keypad down but I think I did it correctly. Feeling accomplished lolGoing to listen to my octopus book The Adventures of Amina al-Sirafi and give my eyes a rest
I finished the sun is also a star. I am starting water for elephants. I am going to look for more to add to the spreadsheet.
I am almost finished with The Adventures of Amina al-Sirafi… and am comfortable adding another book. I added Before the Coffee Gets Cold to the spreadsheet as best I could lol. ( no link) for a ranch task.
My cabin book Good Girls Don’t DieIs a book I had in my library que and had a cabin setting. Not sure how it got on my radar but it’s mpg horror which I avoid like the plague. I’m speeding up the scary parts so am flying through this one.
I also have all the lights on ;)
How is everyone doing? This thread is pretty quiet. I'm wondering if everyone has their nose in a book and haven't come up for air,I have 2 hours left on my audiobook, and I'm at about 30% on my kindle book.
I finished the descendants and going to start the light between the oceans once I finish my appointment
I found a book set in France on my TBR. I added that so I have one written and one audiobook going. My TBR feels toppled which is a good feeling.
I'm having an off day today so I didn't read at all. I'll read some of my kindle book when I crawl into bed.
I finished my 8th book. I am starting a drop in the ocean. I am listening to the audiobook on Spotify. It should be interesting as didn't know about this that Spotify had audio books. Also it has been helpful to work from home as an accountant. So I have been doing a lot or working and diamond paintings while I listen. I have been gophering for other books. Before I add books to the open categories is there anyone who doesn't feel they will be able to complete a task already assigned that is needed to close a category?
Hi all! My apologies for being a bit MIA. I see we are doing a great, good job all :) Just wanted to update you that I am still finishing my 2 books, with ~5 hours of audio left in one and 50% done through the other. So hopefully will be done by both soon. I am enjoying both of my reads but they are going so far more above average than great. I quite like how Leonard and Hungry Paul has picked up its pace after around 40% so having slightly higher expectations from that one.
Hi ladies, I finished the e-book Anne of Avonlea and I have started the e-book The Ranch. I am on track to finish the books that I've signed up for and I think that I can also read for another task on audio.
I finished a drop in the ocean and am starting Christmas and Mistletoe Lodge. I had to change my other Lodge selection as the library and spotify didn't have it.
I listen to audiobooks while I diamond paint too. We're going great, or should I say, you're all doing great. I have 2 hours left in book2, and am at 60% book 3. Getting there, slowly but surely.
Well done everyone! We had snowfall last night and it looks so pretty and white here. Everything is covered in a blanket of snow. Reading for a toppler is a perfect way to spend a snowy evening with warm soup and tea and a cosy blanket.
I have read 50% of the ebook The Ranch and I've finished French Illusions: From Tours to Paris I am just wondering what you think of this book for "artwork" on the cover. It's similar to Starry Night by Vincent Van Gogh and the book is about the artist Vincent Van Gogh. Do you think it fits the prompt: Museum in the title, a statue or framed artwork on the cover or a museum is visited in the story? Louise and Vincent
Grainne wrote: "I have read 50% of the ebook The Ranch and I've finished French Illusions: From Tours to Paris I am just wondering what you think of this book for "artwork" on the cove..."The framed artwork bit confuses me. I’m not sure if that means that an artwork in a frame has to be on cover, like this:
Or just that the cover has to show a painting. If so, then the cover does show part of a painting by Vincent van Gogh called “Starry Night Over the Rhône”. It can be seen here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Starry_...
Honestly i am not sure either it may be something to ask Kristie if it will work. Because it definitely is artwork just don’t know about the framed part as well.
I am also on the fence about it. I used google books to search for the word museum but it’s not in the book. Incidentally, the book that I am reading The Ranch has a museum in it as one of the characters is on the board at the Guggenheim Museum and she is organizing a celebration ball. What a coincidence but I already assigned that for the task ‘ranch’ in the title.
