Amazing work everyone! I've really enjoyed reading with you all and getting more pages in, though alas yesterday was a little slower. The prompts we are most in need of are as follows:* A book with pink on the cover
* A book where someone goes to a hotel
* A book in which a character plays a musical instrument
* A love story
* A book with gold on the cover
* A book with a family drama
We are so close to finishing the first round of each colour, so I have changed the colour coding on the planning tab for those of us who need to move to the second round because our books don't fit any of the prompts in the first round. I am fairly restricted in my choice of books due to other challenges I am doing, but am impressed with our overall variety!

I put Sisterhood under food on cover but it also fits under someone goes to hotel so I could move it if anyone finds food on the cover easier to fill.
Sue wrote: "Meg wrote: "I also just finished I Am, I Am, I Am: Seventeen Brushes with Death. I started a second purple pendant because it didn't fit anything that was left. Feel free to move it..."It's really good! Like many people, I only discovered her with Hamnet, so I'm really enjoying her backlist.
I finished The Storyteller: Tales of Life and Music for the musical instrument prompt and The Salt Grows Heavy for the love story prompt, it's kinda gory but it's a love story. We can change it if needed.
I added Keepsake for the prompt 'a book where someone goes to a hotel'. We only have three more prompts to get a bead of every colour!
I've finished The Theft of Sunlight for gold on the cover.I wasn't sure where to go next so I settled on the decidedly spicy Seven Years to Sin (bought from a second hand bookshop inside an abbey!) which also has black on the cover.
I will have a book completed by tomorrow for the family drama prompt (gold). It would be fantastic if someone had a book with pink on the cover — my copy of The Kiss Quotient does, and I can attempt to finish it by Sunday night, but not sure I’ll get there!
I would have said any pink was fine so it definitely counts Tamara.My book with a black cover won’t take long to finish and I can squeeze in
All Aboard which has coffee on the cover (Emily said that counts). If anyone has a book featuring alcohol we could nab another black bead this weekend.
I've just slotted this in for pink cover. It works for lots of prompts though, so move it if you need!
I've finished All Aboard giving us a second black bead.I don't think I'll be around much tomorrow but feel free to move any of my books around if it's useful. I can see purple starting to fill up :)
I’ve finished another book for the purple bead. Only two to go! I won’t finish another book but will surely add a few more pages read. Happy last readathon-day :)
i finished Invisible Boys and slotted it in for a spicy book as it has a few sex scenes (I wasn't aware of this when I started listening) and What Happened to Nina? which I've put for A book with a character whose name starts with a letter in SILVER. That one probably isn't needed as it's the first second silver. But we only need a book with a purple cover to get our second purple now.
I’ve finished The Death of Vivek Oji and entered it as a silver book as there is not a trace of purple on the cover of my edition. And...I’m done.Thanks for all the companionable reading. This is my first ever Readathon where everyone has contributed books and no one dropped out. Great going!
We did incredibly well as a team - I'm impressed with the number of books and the timeliness of everyone's recording of hours on the spreadsheet - as Joyce mentioned this is often a problem! I tried to complete another book last night but fell asleep with still 100 pages to go! We have had heatwaves all week (43 today!) which has been exhausting - almost impossible to keep garden and chickens in good condition, but the reading has been lots of fun. Thanks everyone!

Ooh - what did you think of this one Meg? I picked up a copy from a charity shop but have yet to read it. I've really enjoyed some of her books
