can not stand love triangles. i always pick the losing love interest :/

least favourite is step-siblings and pregnancy
i honestly don't even consider cheating a trope because??? that is not romance??? dump them? now??

Enemies to lovers
Morally gray villains
Right person wrong time
Strangers to lovers
Least Fav:
Friends to lover (srry but sometimes they are better just as as friends)
Cheating trope
Love triangle

hate surprise pregnancy, cheating, and too much miscommunication ugh

Least: pregnancy, love triangle, insta-love. I haven’t read any cheating tropes but I’d probably hate it haha

Authors trying to make stuff woe makes it seem predictable and less interesting.
Can we try to give some ties to mythology, folklore, story twists, or religions, Like I don't know the bible?
Maybe your an athiest, but at least make some cool anything.
I just don't want to keep seeing romance graphic novels with lgbtq+ characters!
Now respectfully, I'm a follower of the creator and not gay.
I do not hate members of the community, I just don't want it being the only thing in my discussions.
I DO NOT WANT TO TALK ABOUT WHAT YOU DO UNDER THE COVERS!
It just gets worse because they put it on books for younger and younger audiences
It's getting to the point that we might as well teach fetuses sex ed!
Sorry, I was not meant to rant.
Yall can disagree or hate me all you want, but I know most of you are from America and you believe in Freedom of speech.
This is not hate speech, just my opinion on a certain genre.
Thank you, keep scrolling.

It's annoying!
I am fine with enemies to lovers.
But I hate polygamy man!
I hate underage stuff too man!
Like WHY IS THIS IN MY FEED!!!
WHY IS THIS IN MY RECOMMENDED!

Least fave: second chance (specifically if mains are in good relationships when they reunite and then lowkey cheat and try to justify it)

But the second chance is just annoying and unrealistic

least: friends w benefits, pregnancy, cheating,

I believe pregnancy can be a good trope as long as it's wholesome, Not overextended, cringe, or anything else.
It could work as a smaller portion but not as a full book.
(Especially if people are trying to make out during that time like WTF)

And i love enemies to lovers or arranged marriage !

In my manuscript the characters would realize they had feelings but only later on.
The MC would be someone that the Antagonist (Love interest) Would be trying to apprehend.
I was going to make the antagonist hold back as she would be the one who would have feelings first.
Is this a bad way to get it plotted down?

Least Favorite: Age gaps. 2 years (maybe 3, depending on the circumstance) is the max for me, when it goes over my skin crawls. (This definitely isn't targeting a certain fandom)

My least favourite tropes are cheating, and anything that’s too normal lol, like every day stuff ie pregnancy.

least - one bed & friends to lovers (i like friends to lovers, just don't like it THAT MUCH)
