I was curious if anyone here thinks that any of the characters on show might be on the Autism spectrum? I believe Kirk, Paris, and possibly Rory could be. A few years ago, I started to realize I am on the spectrum myself, though it's hard for me to get diagnosed, but it makes the most sense for to me either way. I've been doing research and looking for traits in characters from my favorite shows and movies, and like I said, some of the characters on show seem to have the traits. I'm not an expert and still learning, though, so I could be reading too much into it.

I feel like Zach was on the spectrum. He had trouble socializing and would fidget a lot. He also avoided eye contact a lot and I also feel like we really see his on the spectrum when he starts dating Lane. Just by the way he communicates with her. I do think Kirk might be as well.

I would say Kirk and Paris definitely are and I am not sure about Zach or Rory
My workplace (Evolve Wellbsing Psychology) does autism and adhd assessments, i interact with spectrum kids and adults all the time. Kirk, yes level 2 probably. Rory, definitely not. Zach, likely ADD/ADHD but primarily he is incredibly emotionally immature, Paris - possibly, she seems more like someone with panic disorder/high levels of anxiety however presentation in females is often a little harder to lock down. Would for sure get her assessed lol
I think Paris is probably more OCD than anything… I could be wrong! Kirk definitely could be on the spectrum, he does a lot of things based on sensory issues and doesn’t socialize like the other characters.
hey! does anyone have a book shelf with all the Rory's reads throughout the show? atleast the ones visible from her collection. just anything she has read yet.
