When I don't know something & can't find it in the Manual, I put the former moderator's name plus what I am asking about in the group search engine.
This is one of the posts it brought up.

Maybe I have misunderstood something, but doesn't Audible Audio also require registration? And we add those books.
To be honest, this all doesn't make sense here at all. It is really hard for me to clarify why we cannot do some things to people who make request when even I don't understand it myself. I would expect the main things to be in the manual and I would expect them to be clear.
Diana wrote: "Maybe I have misunderstood something, but doesn't Audible Audio also require registration? And we add those books."You can buy Audible books without a subscription. From the Audible website: Yes, you can purchase titles with or without an Audible membership. Any title you purchase is yours to keep, regardless of your membership status.
Maybe this exception could be written out more clearly in the manual, because according to their ISBN number books in Storytel are... Well, books. And non-book items in the manual only say that stories which require registration are non-book items. There is no mention of books as such.
A small addition. It is worth noting that books from Storytel are even present in Swedish library catalogue.

So Librarian Manual really needs updating if Goodreads policy cannot allow books from Storytel.

Can someone clarify this?
