Well as mentioned above I am looking forward to Go Set A Watchman. Also, Dictator. This is the third part in Robert Harris' Cicero series. Kate Morton's as yet untitled fifth book is out sometime this year and I always love reading her stories. I haven't really looked to see what else is coming out this year. I am (not at all patiently) awaiting part three of Jasper Fforde's Nuesery Crime series (promised since around 2007 grrrrrrr).
Likewise, the new Harper Lee will be devoured by me when it is released. It is weird but all the others I am waiting for are fantasy books. Winds of Winter and Rothfuss' Doors of Stone are the big ones I can't wait for along with the next book in the Unhewn Throne series by Brian Staveley. Last but not least is Skybreaker by Brandon Sanderson that should be released next year. Next year should be an amazing year for me if they are all released.
Knew you'd say Rothfuss Kevin :-). Winds of Winter could be 6 months or 6 years at this stage.The Brian Staveley one is definitely January but I'll try get an ARC again from about October . Next year should be a great year for fantasy though
No doubt you're the same as me with the Rothfuss Paul :) I can't name any other books I'm dying to read. Maybe the next novel from Gaiman but I don't think it falls under this heading.
Well this thread could also be for people to add release dates when they hear them , Gaimans next release would definitely fall into an exciting release.
I'm not really a person who waits on books to come out. Because I never stick to any one genre, maybe this is why. And I also like to wait and read reviews and see if it's worth my while reading plus disliking paying too much for new releases.
@Cphe I couldnt not recommend trying To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee to you. Its one of those books everyone should try at some point. Atticus Finch is one of literatures great heros
@Seraphina, I ssume there are a few here who approach books the same way as you :-) Theres a definite logic. I just dont have the patience to wait sometimes
You're right, Paul. I'm with Seraphina on this one. I enjoy reading the early reviews in the press and then often enough enjoy disregarding them :)
To Kill a Mockingbird was one of those formative books I read as a teenager having discovered it via the old black and white film starring Gregory Peck. I couldn't recommend either highly enough to anyone.

If your reading a really good series or have favourite authors I can see why though
True, Seraphina, but I'm hopeless at keeping up the momentum through a series; however Adrian McKinty's Sean Duffy series looks as if it will be the exception that proves the rule :)
I am looking forward to Stephen King's "Finders Keepers" which is the second in a trilogy he is writing . It began with "Mr. Mercedes."
What are the books not out yet that you are excited about. What big release will you que to buy or reserve in the library.
I think a lot of the group will agree Go Set a Watchman by Harper Lee will be the big release of the year and I imagine myself and Trelawn will buy a copy as soon as its out ( possibly the US cover) abd then battle over who gets to read it first.
Aside from that I'm really looking forward to Dictator by Robert Harris , out in October.
Terry Pratchetts last Discworld book , The Shepherds Crown will be an emotional one for me.
