Kelly Exline Bender I love V.C. Andrews. At first I blamed Olivia 4 everything that happened and everyone thinks it was all Malcome, but Malcome did what he did 2 stop the cycle by leaving Corrine out of the will if she had children she is the one who became money hungry and tried 2 kill her children!!

Erin *Proud Book Hoarder* Yes, this book sheds more light on her character and makes her a little more sympathetic from Flowers in the Attic (Olivia, the grandmother.)

Corrine was definitely selfish but kind of redeems herself in If there be thorns later.

It doesn't really replace the truth, it only made her greedy enough to kill her children they should have been told they were brother and sister
