Recent fiction (2021-2023) novel about two unnamed married characters in rural community, basically no narrative plot but beautiful prose focused on descriptions of landscape. Long but wonderful prose. Believe it was either translated from a European language or set in Europe (Ireland or England?) but not 100% sure about this. Was mentioned for some book awards in 2022 or 2023 perhaps. Thank you!!!

It sounds like it could be Study for Obedience by Sarah Bernstein, which was shortlisted for the Booker Prize in 2023. The description of the landscape sounds similar, and the characters are unnamed, though it seems they are siblings as opposed to a couple. Hopefully this is it!
