The Chronicles of Nick *is* Nick’s real and true past. There is a huge surprise (several actually) in the series that I don’t want to spoil, but when you read them, everything you think is an inconsistency will make perfect sense to you. More than that, you will understand exactly why Nick is the way he is and why he continues to hate Acheron the way he does.
Nick’s series will run until it intersects with Night Pleasures and then Nick will have his own novel in the Dark-Hunter world.
Remember the one promise that I try to keep in every book: Just when you think you know the truth about a character or event, you find out that things are seldom what they seem. Nick is one of those characters. There’s a lot more to our little Cajun than what you’ve seen to date. That’s why it takes 14 books to tell his story.
There are many, many secrets you’ll learn about a lot of characters, including Cherise and especially Jaden and Jared. Just hold on… you ain’t seen nothing yet :)
-Website
-Jared wasn't the father of the first Malachai, they were BITTER enemies (comment by Sherrilyns assistant)

1. Adarian was younger than Ash
-Per SK herself, at the recent Google hangout/Read for Pixels project
2. Nick is approximately the 53rd Malachai born after the First Malachai.
-Carl, in answer to a question on FB. NOTE: He also stated that he would have to double check with SK, to make sure that he counted correctly. Still ... dang. That's a LOT of Malachais.
In addition to Noir and Azura, we now know three more Primals: Braith (Apollymi), Rezar (Set), Cam (Menyara/Ma'at; yes, she is identified as a primal goddess).
-Illusion; also verified on FB by Carl.
We know for certain five of the Malachai's six generals: Grim, Bane, Laguerre, Livia, Xevikan. We have yet to meet the actual Sakkan. (Thorn is not the Sakkan.)
-Illusion
Ash and Nick are related through Apollymi but are not brothers; Ash is Nick's uncle removed by .... apparently 50+ generations.
-Illusion and FB

- Confirmed

Slick let me get this straight....In your post you said that "The Chronicles of Nick *is* Nick’s real and true past."
Does that mean it's the true past of the Nick in the dark hunter series, and that there was A LOT he kept from Acheron, Kyrian etc.....?
Or does she mean that is the true past of a Nick from an alternate reality.

Ambrose tried to change it already 3 times, but the Nick in the DH series doesn't remember any of those 3 times. He will, however, remember what happened in CoN because it's his ultimate past, the one that won't be changed again.

CON is the true past of Nick Gautier from the DH series. That's exactly what SK said and keeps saying. It's not an alternate reality like Illusion but the true prequel to DH.

Would anyone else be interested in seeing what I've gathered? And if so, would this be a good place to post it?

But in DH Nick only knew he was the Malaki after he became a dark hunter not like in CON when he became the Malaki when he was a kid, so doesn't that mean that Nick in DH is Ambrose and he went back in time to the Nick in CON?

History
• The six source gods are the children of Chronis and Tiamat.
• Positive source gods (The Kalosum): Verlyn (view spoiler) (in charge of vegetation and fertility, Earth god, fed everyone), Cam (view spoiler) (goddess of white and gold, sun goddess, love and light), Rezar (beautiful, anyone who looks at him is so filled with lust they spontaneously combust, god of fire and passion)
• Negative source gods (Mavromino): Braith (view spoiler) (war goddess, gray, goddess of metals, taught mankind to make metals), Noir (all things dark and deadly), Azura (goddess of water, lures you in and drowns you)
• Verlyn, Cam and Rezar created the Cthonians, who were charged with making sure the gods didn't abuse their power
• Verlyn, Cam and Rezar created the Sephirii to be the protectors of mankind and the consorts of the gods
• Noir, Braith and Azura created their own army in the Malachai
• During the Primus Bellum, Caleb first led the Memitim against the Kalosum, but later carried Verlyn's banner and led his armies against the Obsidian Triad, only Jared had more kills, and the only person who defeated Caleb was the original Malachai
• Jared betrayed the Sephirii army to the dark powers, but Xevikan's blood was used to seal the gates to Azmodea and make sure the Mavromino were cut off from this world. It is his blood through the Malachai's hand and magic that is needed to release Azura and Noir back into the world
• After the Primus Bellum, all but one Sephiroth and one Malachai were to be put down (view spoiler)
• Verlyn was in charge of rounding up the Sephirii swords and destroying them, but instead, he gave a few to Shadow to hide, others had Sephirii bound to them (some Sephirii were bound to medallions instead) and those are handed down through the Hell-Chaser families
• Braith abandoned her siblings for the deal they made against her child (the first Malachai), and has disappeared(view spoiler) , and without her, Azura and Noir lack the strength to bring the Malachai fully under heel
• Monakribos's wife, Rubati, was also a Malachai, and he was ordered to kill her. When he refused, he was tricked into it.
• Monakribos was drugged by Grim and Laguerre's daughter, and this caused him to kill his wife Rubati and their unborn child. With the blood of his wife and child, he drew sigils on his body and swore that his sons would remember the betrayal and carry his powers, and each would grow stronger until they have enough power to put the gods down and reign over them
• Rubati's blood formed into a shell of herself with no heart, a physical manifestation of Monakribos's emptiness. He named her Bathymaas.
• Monakribos cursed the gods that none of them would know peace, love or happiness until they do right by him and make amends for what they've stolen from him.
• Noir and "his friends" ripped Monakribos apart, but from his blood a new Malachai, Jeros, arose. Jeros hunted down Grim and Laguerre's daughter and exacted revenge on her. They were not allowed to kill Jeros, but instead cursed him to die by the hand of his son. When his son Evander killed Jeros, Evander realized he would die by his son's hand, so he exacted revenge on Grim and Laguerre by making them subservient to him, and using their powers to feed his own.
• The arelim were servants to the Malachai and Sephirii, but after the first war, became Guardians of Order and Truth.
• Rezar created the Magus Stone during a battle with Braith, and gave it to her as a peace offering, but during the process of putting it into a necklace, he cut himself, and his blood gives it the ability to create chaos, split the dimensions and remove the soul from a body.
• Apollymi used the Magus Stone to create the Daimons.
• Apollymi gave the Magus Stone to Kody's mother (view spoiler) to celebrate her birth.
• If Nick had been at full strength and the Magus Stone had been used on him, he would have absorbed Braith's and Rezar's powers out of it.
• Azura created a disease designed to take down the gods.
• Azura keeps Verlyn sterile.
• Rezar has been missing for centuries.
The Arelim
• The elite Arelim (Nasaru) are born to their positions and they choose the nekodi from the fallen.
• The Arelim's realm existed outside of human space and time.
• At least 5 arel must agree for a death warrant to be issued on one of their own.
• The Arelim's book of destiny says that the Malachai would bring about the end of the Arelim.
• Their book of prophecy says that a Malachai would be born who could turn against his dark nature and restore balance, that he would hold it in tandem with his brother.
• Sraosha's original role as arel was to set things in motion for the history that he kept, to make sure that it moved forward correctly and on time... they speculate that if Ambrose succeeded in having Nick avoid destroying the world, Sraosha would "still go crazy because the order would be upset."

Fate and Destiny
• Pith points are unstoppable events that can't be changed, (view spoiler)
• Ananke is the goddess of inevitability, she is compulsion ("like gravity for fate"), she holds the time sequence together - like an escape velocity for gravity, even a pith point can be altered, but shifting one can have unimaginable consequences
• The Eye of Ananke shows the "why" of a matter or person, and the one thing it cannot do is lie ("No two memories of any event are ever the same, they're all sifted through our emotional channels...they color every input into our brain" but that isn’t true for the Eye)
Preternatural creature info
• When a demon tries to use their powers on a Dark Hunter, they backfire
• Any human who crosses over to the land behind the veil doesn't remember their time there
• An enslaved demon cannot kill their master without causing themselves an enormous amount of agony for the rest of eternity
• With every god a Chthonian kills, it weakens them
• Zebulon is the only Chthonian left besides Savitar (view spoiler)
• If the Harbinger lives, Kody's father (view spoiler) lives
• Daeves/Demons don't get sick
• Zeitjägers are time sentinels - they guard, monitor and protect it, and punish those who abuse it
• Apollymi used the Magus Stone to create the Daimons
• Unless they're in battle defending what they love, the Sephirii can calm the most restless of souls
• The Hellhunters have their ouisa and souls bound to Seraph medallions and swords. On their deaths, the medallions call to another family member who then gains the memories and abilities of those who held it before them. Only Gabriel can call the Seraph out of someone and put it back into the medallion before their death
• When a demon crosses into the human realm and has its own corporeal body, it doesn't disappear when killed
• Very few beings are able to weaken a god like Noir - the Malachai was one, Jared was another. Those two had weapons they wielded with their powers that could lay low the primal gods, but those were either destroyed or well hidden, and Jaden had been looking for them for a long time, and willing to break any rule or give a demon anything in order to get one
• If a demon breaks the laws of its pantheon, or someone wants to own it, they can set a bounty on it, and the bounty hunters will start looking for it

Malachai physical info & abilities
• The younger Malachai can always find the elder
• Saving a demon's life is how a Malachai enslaves him
• Malachai blood, organs, and bones are priceless, which is why they usually use the last of their powers to burn themselves up when they die
• The Malachai is always able to see straight through any facade and see the person's weakness, and all Malachai up to Nick have used it to hurt and wound
• One of the Malachai's powers is knowledge of all languages
• A full-blown Malachai bleeds black, not red
• The younger Malachai sucks powers out of the father, then you can kill the father. The child will then have both powers, but be untrained and weak and could be enslaved
• The 3 primal gods who once controlled the Malachai have a special collar that restricts his power and keeps him from harming them
• Adarian is the longest-lived Malachai
• Ambrose gains some of Artemis's godhood when he drinks her blood
• Ambrose needs to drink demon blood to live/survive (not really living)
• Time travel is not a Malachai power
• There can only be one Malachai demon with full powers at a time
• A Malachai’s powers aren’t bound to his body, but to his soul, and get passed to his heir
• A Malachai can bind a demon’s slavery to his lifetime, or his powers
• Nick is the first Malachai who is half-human, previously their mothers were always demons or goddesses
• The Malachai is “conceived in violence, to do violence, and to die violently”
• Legend says that “There will be one Malachai born unlike all the others. He will know love and if you can keep him wrapped in it, grounded by it, he can be turned from the dark that spawned him. He will be the greatest champion this world has ever known. But should he lose anchor, he will turn into the one that destroys us all. For the very love that gives him goodness is the love that will turn him to pure hatred when he loses it”
• Once they come into their full powers, the only person who can kill a Malachai is their heir
• The Malachai can sense when someone tampers with time
• The Malachai is one of the handful of beings who can call down Armageddon
• (view spoiler)
Malachai allies and surrounding creatures
• The ušumgallu consists of 7 demon generals (one of which is the Malachai).
• Whenever the elder Malachai dies, his generals (the ušumgallu) are summoned together to end the world. As a final curse from the first Malachai, only a full-fledged Malachai can command their combined forces and send them back to their holes, and he has to do this before the new moon
• Zevikan is the Šarru-Dara (or Blood King) and is the oldest of the Šarrus
• Livia is the Šarru-Ninim
• Each of the Šarras has their own malevolent group they uniquely control (Yrre controls the souls of the dead, Xev controls the gates to the prison realms of the cursed gods)
• The Malachai usually sends the Šarras back to their holes as soon as possible so that they cannot combine to kill or enslave him
• One Malachai in the past was removed via judgement (requested by majority of his generals)
• The Malachai's Šarras hold a part of his powers. As such, Noir can feed from them and take back some of his strength
• The ušumgallu cannot win without the Malachai, but they don't care about winning

Few rules before posting in this thread:

3. Only verified facts please. We have other threads for discussions already, but want this thread to be like a source of information we can revert back to. To help ease some of the confusion over characters, situations, etc. in this series.
