Do you read several books at the same time, or do you wait until you finish one to start another?

II usually read 3 or more and concentrate on the story line that resonates more with me at a particular moment
I usually have several books going. I stash books at work, in my purse, etc., in case I get stuck waiting. I also have a fiction and a non-fiction book going because of my fickle reading moods.My husband thinks I am crazy haha

I was reading 2, It Ends With Us and Hairpin Bridge but i usually would just read one at a time. but those books where 2 different genres so i wouldn't get them mixed up lol

I used to all the time but now I'm 56 and I like slowing down a bit and staying with one at a time.

During the day I read a paperback and in bed on my ereader in a different genre then during the day
I read (either a hard copy or on Kindle) in bed before I go to sleep), and I always have an audiobook that I listen to during the day as well. If I get tired of one, I will also start another. I might swap back and forth or just finish the new one and then consider whether to continue with the "old" one.
i read one at a time, i only read 2 books at the same time only if it is mandatory like in the tog series

i am and have never usually been the one to read more than one book at one time BUTTT just recently i've been reading 2 books at one time...but it wont be something i do regularly :)
Sometimes I will read 2-3 at the same time. Other times I just read one. it depends on my mood, I guess.

I read thriller and spicy books. I always have one of each going...one on my kindle and one on audible.

I usually read a few books at a time and have been known to have over 12 that I am reading. I started that habit many years ago at a early age of 10 or even younger. If a book is supper good I have a tendency to not read as many books at a time. For example I have recently been reading all the Harry Potter books and they get better and better each read. Now that I'm on Book 6, I don't read any other books.
I'm always reading 2 or 3 at a time. I try to balance between a book that is appropriate for my middle school readers (I work in a middle school library) and an "adult" book.
I read one book at a time! I cannot read several books at the same time because it confuses my brain. I might mix up/mess up the characters and stuff. I also like to give my undivided attention to the book that I'm reading so that I can properly "digest it" (I don't read just to read). I also feel like if I read several books at once, I probably won't finish any of them. (I have ADHD, so keep that in mind lol)

I only read one book at a time. That way I can fully immerse myself in the plot and the characters.
I generally have two books on the go at the same time, and I also am usually reading a graphic novel, as well. I divide my reading time up during the day. I have a set time for the two books and the graphic novel. For example, I read the graphic novel during my noon hour break.
