Indefensible: the Missing Truth about Steven Avery 3 stars (BWF)

Like millions of people I watched the Netflix series Making a Murderer. Griesbach, a prosecutor, has written Indefensible in the hopes that he can give a more complete idea of what went on in the cases of Steven Avery and Brendan Dassey. Trying to be as objective as possible Griesbach watched the series and compared this to the actual court transcripts. What he found was a highly biased narrative with things being left out and much of the transcripts and video being cut and spliced to project the innocence of Avery and Dassey. Much of Avery's past was not allowed at trial. He is definitely one creepy guy that I think most people would avoid. Dassey on the other hand has a low IQ and seems to be a follower. I'm still not sure what I think about his guilt or innocence. I do think Griesbach gives a more complete picture of the case. While not for everyone the book helps give a different perspective to those who have watched the Netflix series.
