I have to admit, I owned a Laser Disc Player. It was an Pioneer Elite series player. It had everything that a movie buff could want. Stop action, amazingly good picture quality, wide screen ect. You have to remember that we were at the height of the VCR era and this was really the rage of the video world. My first disk was Henry V the screen adaption of the Shakespeare play by Branagh(sp). It was unbelievably well done and the stereo quality was wonderful. If I still had the player I am sure the disc would still look great. I still own all of my eight or nine discs if anyone is interested.
