Favorite prompt (and what book did you read for it?): A Book whose title is a complete sentence. Oh my goodness, I suggested this, so I totally binged out on this. Finlay Donovan Is Killing It, Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine, but my favorite was An Elderly Lady Is Up to No Good
Favorite book (and what prompt was it for?): House of Leaves This book is now my favorite book in my entire life!!! There were a lot of prompts I could place it in, but I used it for Book recommended by a Bookseller.
Was there a book you especially enjoyed that you never would have read if not for the Challenge? (and what prompt was it for?) : There were a few.
The Frangipani Tree Mystery I can't wait to binge more Ovidia Yu - Book that was set in the year 24 years before you were born (1936 , if you must know)
I'll Be the One - Book about K-Pop
The Dare - Book with enemies to lovers plot -Romance is so not my thing, but this was spicy, and even for a Domme, tthe logistics and the consent was very good. I had to switch genders around in my head, but it was worth it!
Least favorite prompt: NaNoRiMo - I read Don't Ask - It wasn't bad, and a refreshing change from the 8,00,00 books I've had to read of those written in NaNoRiMo for various challenges.

Favorite prompt (and what book did you read for it?): # 44. An autobiography by a woman in rock 'n' roll. I read Don't Tell Anybody the Secrets I Told You: A Memoir by Lucinda Williams
Favorite book (and what prompt was it for?): My favorite book that I read in 2024 was James by Percival Everett, but it wasn't for this challenge. I have two favorites out of the books I read for this challenge: Clytemnestra by Costanza Casati (read for prompt # 30. A book with a one-word title you had to look up in a dictionary) and The Women by Kristin Hannah (read for prompt # 46. A book in which a character sleeps for more than 24 hours)

Was there a book you especially enjoyed that you never would have read if not for the Challenge? (and what prompt was it for?):
Queer Ducks (and Other Animals): The Natural World of Animal Sexuality (15 librarian recommendation). I really learned a lot, and probably wouldn’t have stumbled across it myself.
Least favorite prompt: NaNoWriMo and ‘takes place in 24 hours’, as those were repeats from last year. Repeats in general are fine, with at least one year in between. Unless it’s a ‘new release’ type prompt, that works every year.
Prompt you hope to see again: Any that center marginalized communities, as either authors or main characters.
Last prompt you finished:
34, 3 POVs - Dracula. I read it thru Dracula Daily, which sends an email each day that something happens to the characters, in the same timeline that it happens to them. The final entry is November 10.
Did you like all the extra-challenging and specific categories this year? I did, but honestly, I don’t know how I would have found some of these without this group. You are all a massive fountain of knowledge!
Did you like the “24” theme scattered throughout? Mostly, I just wish that hadn’t used ‘takes place in 24 hours’ two years in a row.

I usually stay away from horror. I thought of skipping this prompt, But I ended up reading Mexican Gothic
