I am popping back in to say I exist! Maddy, if you have a Yellow 7 in mine then absolutely go for it! That’s such a hard one to find.

I have completed my first week at my new job and it’s been quite something 😬 I’m planning to go through and log all the books I’ve read this week (not a yellow 7 sadly!) and look at what I’ve committed to so I can prioritise those this week. Just over a week to go until the month is over!

This book is a few difficult. Full of abstract narration and unfamiliar background and history context. But I have to say it is a masterpiece. The mysterious character [Kurtz] died in the novella, but he died at the night which cannot fit in the cocktail death in the afternoon I guess.

The main idea of the book is simple and motivating. You have to igonre the negative voice and keep doing the thing you think it's right. It might sound arrogant and narcissistic, but it's quite useful for anyone who want to be more competitive in market or their career. In fact, the writer is korean with a name I cannot tranlate into English. Though, apart from the main thought, other examples seems redundant sadly.

Since the one we require is for the March Mini challenge, you could have started it anytime after Feb 1, but it has to be completed after Mar 15.

I have one book to log and two more that I’ve finished but I need to check word length - Sweet Valley High is usually right on the borderline. However, my cold has resulted in viral conjunctivitis (pinkeye) in BOTH eyes so I’m feeling a wee bit sorry for myself haha. Hopefully I’ll be up for screen stuff soon.

Is anyone reading anything exciting this month? I stumbled on a paranormal cozy mystery series on kindle unlimited which is really good (I’m getting my moneys worth this year!) and I’m two books in to the seven book series.

Completed Legends & Lattes by Travis Baldree and updated the spreadsheet. Has anyone else read this book? I really enjoyed it and could totally see it being made into a movie.

JoJo - I have that book! It was my first proper introduction to cozy fantasy as a genre and I love it.

My eyes are feeling a lot better today so hopefully I’ll be back to full strength shortly. There’s only one more week of school and it’s school holidays too, which I am really looking forward to! I can’t wait for a bit of a break. Already - I’ve only been working three weeks and there was a five day weekend in there too haha.

I do have a hold on the audiobook of Bookshops and Bonedust. I guess it's the prequel, so the background story of Viv.

I removed a book I had listed on the spreadsheet because I just couldn't get into it. Maybe it's the timing for me right now, but certain books just aren't keeping my attention. I won't mark a book as DNF just because I never know if I'll come back to it at a later time.

Hi everyone!

Just wanted to let everyone know how so sorry I am that I have not been active and reading for the last few days and I mostly will be inactive for the rest of the month.

It has been and will be a busy month for me, I am balancing 6 finals and packing to move to a new country (US). While I know that we are still in the challenge and my goal is 2 books (the least in the team) I think I will be unable to finish this goal.

Once again I am so sorry! Hope everyone has a great time reading and hopefully someone can carry the team!
