There were approx 6 books in the series. I believe the plot followed 4 children, girl 1, her brother, girl 2 (1's best friend), and I believe her brother also. The first book was about a house, the children sneak into the house to explore it. Another of the books was about a pony, either it went missing or the children tried to save it from an abusive owner, I can't remember. Girl 1 may have been called Poppy.

The copies that I read had shiny covers, each in a different colour of the rainbow. They also had shiny stickers in them, of the children and items relevant to the plot, as well as lots of hearts and stars. The book about the house had either a red or pink cover. They were also rather short books, maybe around 1cm in thickness.

I believe I read them sometime between 2008 and 2012, and I'm pretty sure they were new-ish releases around that time. I'm almost positive they weren't written before 2000 at least.
