This is a short and condensed story of Shackleton's expedition of Antartica that never happened. Though quite harrowing, this book does not do this true story justice. I also pulled up a map of this expedition and Wikipedia has a wonderful map that breaks down their adventure which helped picture the events happening. I enjoyed reading this, but it just scratches the surface of the trials and experiences of these men.
