Problem with following Carrie

Hey :)

I have a problem with the website:
Bad luck, Carrie had the 5k friends possible when I found Carrie's goodreads - so I was only able to follow her.
This wouldn't be a big problem but when I accidentally checked her site today I recognized I wasn't following her anymore.

I tried many times but it won't let me follow her again (after refreshing the site it seems I unfollowed her again).

So I wondered if anybody has the same struggle or knows what I can do?

The same thing happened to me (odd coincidence that we're both called Laura...) and have not yet found a solution.
Did you try to friend her first? I can't remember if I did but it's possible that the "can't-friend-because-too-many-friends" algorithm might have automatically blocked us. :/

Is there a way ya'll could contact Goodreads? Maybe they have an email or something for people who run into problems. I hope ya'll figure it out <3

Yeah, I tried it before - But I did so to some other users and following afterwards worked excellent.

I was actually lucky enough to friend Carrie so I haven't had that problem :/
