SOLVED. Children's Book Search and Find Cat on Cover. [s]

This is a sort of I-Spy book. There was a cat that figured prominently, and a spyglass served as a sort of bookmark, connected by a ribbon. Perhaps treasure was in it somewhere? An attic?
My kids all remember this, but nobody can recall the name or find it online.
