As you read Alice's Adventures in Wonderland drop a comment regarding your initial thoughts.

I've never read the book before so my only knowledge of the story is from TV and movies. It seems the very lines set up the book to be a whimsical daydream of a little girl. Is it real or an incredible imagination?

I've started, but must admit that I am struggling. This isn't the type of book that I usually reach for or gravitate towards. However, I have hopes that it will become a favorite before I have finished it.
