Allison is sympathetic to Bill despite his repeated offenses and run-ins with the law. Why? Would you have been as generous? What does she ask Liam to do to help Bill, and why does Liam agree to it?

Bill was never mean to her, and he protected her from his friends. She also saw what he had to live with and in small part, feels he isn't a bad person.

If anyone could help get Bill out, it would be Liam. Liam is sure he won't be out long.

Allison grew up in the same household as Bill and knew that his parents had messed him up, just in a different way. She is a very caring person.

I agree she's caring...but this seemed a bit naive to me. Liam knew it, but agreed to do it anyway.

I understand that Bill wasn't mean to her verbally, but he contributed to his parents need for money.

He's the main reason his parents continue demanding money. Early on, they were buying a house, etc., but they need a lot more to keep him out of jail.
