I need some good reasons on why to read the cruel prince

So last year i tried reading the cruel prince but I dnfed it and gave it 1 star but i think I just wasnt in the state for that book so i put a reservation in the library for the cruel prince and I can pick it up around 30th January so i need some good motivation to make me excited!!!

When I read it at first I really had a bit of a hard time getting into the book, but once I was able to get into it, it was simply amazing!!! And the next two books in the series are even better. This is probably my favorite series.

personally, my favorite is the queen of nothing, so its a long build up but well worth it

just know that this book is mostly fantasy and has a subplot of enemies to lovers
not much romance tbh

yeah, I want to try getting into fantasy books since I have bad experience with fantasy I just hated it. and I heard good reviews about this book so I wanted to give this a 2nd try and I actually like it when a book isn't only about romance, but don't get me wrong i love romance but I like it more on the side of the story so this sound good tho

The first one was the hardest read for me honestly, Cardan's an ass (still love him in the later ones tho). After that they got better and I loved the last one. I'd say romance is a subplot so if you like faerie politics give em a try :)

the story telling is good. they doesn't get lost in its sequels which is generally the case with many books

I actually don't understand why someone should try to read a book that is not for them. That does not mean the book is bad. We have different tastes and attitudes towards books, so with the variety of books we have, it shouldn't be that difficult to find something to our liking :-)

it's not that im forcing myself to read it. its just that i was so in my ☆°Romance phase that anything that wasn't romance i hated so I didn't give it a fair chance so this time I want to try ut again :)

I found it a little slow but I got through all of the books and I totally get the hype it is just soooooo good. It has great world building and the characters *chefs kiss*. But I understand if its not your thing cause it took me like a month to get through the first book. Oh and my favorite book was Wicked King❤️

because the fmc is a warrior but still manage to feel girly and stuff, like she is so feminine but is also a badass character, which doesn’t happen in most of the books

I would say it is worth it cause by the second book I was so hooked on the characters and plot
