I love my little collection of Penguin clothbound classics and the paperback classics with the black strip at the bottom.
Early 20th century editions of book randomness...
But most cherished, even then, are my favorite childhood books.
One is called Morris the Moose Goes to School.
And the complete set of first printing of The Baby-Sitters Club. Notably I saved up so much money to pay for the set. They arrived each month in sets of 3 with swag and I felt so official!
Bible as well, one I have from childhood, is a Precious Moments Bible. Those sweet, tear-dropped eyes of a very special edition to me because it was unique with the illustrations inside.
Great questions! These are great prized books you all have! We are all sentimental and collectors.

I have a very old book from the 1960's called "The Beatles" by Hunter Davies and the bookmark is a letter from a friend from my Munich/Germany childhood days that she sent to me when she saw the Beatles at the Munich train station arriving.

my brother preordered it 6 months before it came out when we found out that my beloved book series will be continued ❤️❤️ THANK YOU UNCLE RICK

I've read several great biographies by Melissa Mueller and Carol Ann Lee on Anne Frank and on her father Otto Frank which I can highly recommend.
Recently I've read "My Friend Anne Frank" by Hannah Pick-Goslar which was excellent.
Especially for somebody like me whose native language is not English.
Cheers,
Chrissie

A signed copy by Lilli Palmer (Der rote Rabe).
Nathaniel Philbrick signed his "Mayflower" non-fiction book for me in a bookstore on Cape Cod way back in 2006.
I met Mary Higgins Clark in person in mid October 1998 when she signed her new crime novel in a bookstore in Hamburg-Wandsbek.
Utta Danella signed her hardcover copy of "Wo hohe Tuerme sind" for me at a Hamburg department store in 1988.

That would be Heidi. It was my first hardcover in English, gifted to me by someone who was very special to me. The book was really cute and the gift itself has alot of meaning for me, so that's my most cherished book.
