Going to a Jane Austen conference gives quite a few people a chance to dress in Regency style.
Have any of you seen the screen adaptation of Sense and Sensibility starring Emma Thompson and Kate Winslet (I thought it was quite good)?
Have you ever been to ComicCon? It really doesn't interest me, but I know it's very popular.

Movies and TV do not interest me, so I have not seen Keanu Reeves nor the screen adaptation of Sense and Sensibility.
Not really all that attracted to Keanu, but the movie Keanu was super funny, and the Keanu Kitten was ADORABLE!
Oh, really? I have not seen that movie and I love kittens and think all are adorable!
Regularly watch documentaries rather than movies.
Needs P and QPuppies are also cute to see in movies....or happy documentaries about puppies....not about puppy farms, animal abuse, eating dog festivals, or dog fights.
Question is ,are there much movies based on puppies.
Surprising someone with a kitten or puppy is a great idea, but only if you know they love animals and can take good care of it.
Understanding that a pet is a big responsibility is a hard concept for some children.

Well, as a child my pet dog used to nip my heels to herd me into the yard and keep me safe and out of the street (She was a Sheltie and my best friend).

French Bulldogs snort and snore a lot.

Having been attacked by a dog and fracturing my spine in September as well as being bitten by a dog while riding a bike, I'm hoping this subject will soon change to discussing cats!

Utterly impractical to have a pet giraffe.
Very funny to imagine designing a house for a giraffe to live in!
Walls would be extremely long for that otherwise it might bash his head.
EXtremely unlikely that there would be a roof since they like to eat leaves from trees.
