My, my, what are book banners so afraid of?

No, they shouldn't ban books ,rather make them 13+,or 18+ and print it on covers for parents to see.
Organized groups are working together to ban books that disagree with their religious beliefs.
Please tell me we're not turning into a dystopian world similar to the one written about in Fahrenheit 451.
Really need to think positive thoughts.
Sometimes we have to face reality in order for us to take steps to correct upsetting trends.
Trends which go in the wrong direction and public follows them blindly are dangerous

EXceptionally difficult job and hard to stay honest.
Zachary Taylor was the only U.S. president whose name began with a Z.
And there hasn't been a U.S. president whose last name started with a Z.
But there have been 5 presidents with the first name of James, excluding Jimmy Carter.
Can you name them all off the top of your head?
Depends on how much time I have, but probably not.
Every time I think of the upcoming US election, I just shake my head in disbelief.
Frankly, so do I, so I am going to visit Canada to see if it is better across the border.
Gonna be disappointed, Emily, because things aren't better here either.
I don't foresee the same freedoms for my grandchildren that i have had.

May I ask what in particular you think should change?
Not sure, but more than just two parties predominately winning, and predominantly fighting.
One thing would help and that is to eliminate the Electoral College!

Xena - Warrior Princess could be another suitable candidate. I mean, she is a woman, not too fashionable, and she knows how to tackle a problem.
You're never going to get enough people to vote for Xena, let alone put her over the top.

As always, I think another candidate would be far more interesting; for example, Hank Hill represents the masses.

Everyone should watch movies like Meet John Doe,Mr. Deeds Goes to Town, and Mr Smith Goes to Washington to find out what happens when the good people go try to do good in D.C.
Fear it is impossible to do good in Washington without a lot of protests and violence preceding it.
Goodness! Protests and violence seem to proceed everything these days; it's all a mess. (Sorry, I got my games mixed up...again.)
Have to run a lot these days in order to restore my peace of mind.

Just using a ceiling fan is not enough, and I don't know how they manage it in Malaysia
