I read this book in 2021 or 2022. It's a sequel of 4 books, but I only remember the first 2.
The heroine (her name might be Reign.. I don't recall). She loses her mother and her father marries another woman and does everything to please her. Later on, her father gets caught in a fraudulent scam and goes to jail. She has no one to live with anymore and is forced to go back to her hometown to live with her cousin. Flashback: In her "hometown" when she was younger she used to be friends with the hero of the book and he had two younger brothers who were twins, one of the twins died from suicide on the same day the heroine left the town. Present: When she settles down and starts going to her last year of high school she finds out that no one likes her. She becomes friends with the main character of the next sequel and the main character is apparently "fat" and ginger, the ginger girl ends up dating the younger brother of the hero in the first book. Fast-forward to the heroine of the 1st book finding out the reason why the hero was so mad at her, fixing everything, and then happily ever after.
