I love the golden yellow on the cover! The book itself was okay; predictable and forgettable, but not unbearable.

I love the colours of sunsets! We return to the wilderness at the edge of the forest near medieval Moscow. Our heroine, Vasilisa, has been branded a witch by the local villagers and her only choices for leaving are marriage or the convent. Her wild spirit chafes at the thought of either option and in desperation she disguises herself as a boy and sets off for grand adventures.

Not quite as good as the first novel in my opinion, but still a solid read. 3*The Girl in the Tower
