i just love Newt. I... It was so bad when he died. And Thomas killed him. I understand why but still.... It hurts like hell
I will always love him. His death killed me BUT I really want a series or even a book written from his POV, like what happened in the Maze before Thomas arrived ??I can't be the only one, am I?

That's so weird... that is EXACTLY what you're going to get! Well, not exactly, but close enough. The Fever Code prequel is set before anyone enters the Glade, and some of it is from Newt's POV. Can't wait!

This is so weird because after I wrote this I saw posts on Tumblr with James Dashner's tweets about TFC!! And I almost died with excitement. I'm living for it!
Jeez, Newt's death killed me inside. I just couldn't handle it! It was so sad when Thomas shot him. I understand why he did it and I know that Newts wanted to die, but...whyyyyyyyyy?! I wish he would have lived, but it did add more emotion into the story...

I was reading this in class when I was suppose to be taking notes and I literally gasped and dropped the book crying when I read about his limp....
I can't believe some schools read this.
My school promotes any type of reading, but no one reads at school except a handful sadly...
I honestly set the book down for a few minutes after the unspeakable page. Newt was my absolute favorite. *sighs*
@Jasmine the amount of people who dont read is really sad. In my class at school there was me and 2 other people I think in that class who liked to read.

Newt was my favourite character, one of the only ones developed enough for me to actually care about in the series. His decline and eventual death was so sad. :(I just wonder, was it just me that felt that what was in the note he left Thomas was obvious though? I mean, if you were in that situation, would you not ask for the same?

Wasn't he supposed to be really clever?
