Cover colours need to be >50%. The examples we have given are just that, examples and you do not need to read something from the examples given. Feel free to get creative! The book needs to make sense for each cocktail but for the rest, you are given free hand to make your books fit.
◈ Every book read is worth 10 points.
◈ Each book can be used for one task only.
◈ If your team reads for all 30 tasks, you get 30 points as bonus.
Part Two
After several cocktails, a lot of us tend to get a little creative - some more than others. Here is your chance to shine (again), now that you've drunken a multitude of cocktails: create your own cocktails!
You can use anywhere between two and six elements from your books to create a name for your cocktail along the lines of what the mods have done for the team names.
These are the elements you can choose to use from your books - any combination of these works:
- book title
- series title
- author name
- item on cover
- cover colour (no matter how much of it is found on the cover as long as one can actually detect it with the naked eye)
- name from the story (any character or named creature, you could even use the cat's name if you like)
- setting of the story (can be the entire setting, can be the setting of a single scene, whatever works for your creation)
The names of your cocktails do not have to be villain/troublemaker inspired. You could create a Miss Piggy's Pink Umbrella if you wanted. Or a Little Miss Sunshine's Bellini.
◈ Every book read is worth 10 points.
◈ Each book can only be used once for the mini challenge.
◈ No bonus points for completing this part as it is supposed to be fun. No pressure.
We can make more than one cocktail, but we get a completion bonus for Part 1, so we should put books there first, unless they don't fit any tasks. Any additional books after we finish Part 1 can be used for drinks!
Sarah, if you can wait to finish your Yellow book until the 15th, then we can put it in for the yellow cover task under Mayday's Tuxedo.

I also listened to the audio version (in English) of H. C. Andersen-morderen which is called "The Fairy Tale Killer". However, it is not listed in Goodreads. Is a librarian able to add it? I see that there are comments on the above link stating that the person listened to the English version, but none has been created. If we can get it listed, it fits the following cards:

If you can provide a link to the audio, I can get one of the librarians in the Captain's group to add the edition. In the meantime, I would just use this edition. That's what I do if I don't need a specific cover/page count for a challenge.

Great minds think alike! I did the same thing the other day. That's how I found Troublemaker, which I posted this morning. I've got a few more, so I think we're going to be okay on Reverses between us.
I don't think your book is 50% orange. It's pretty evenly divided between yellow, orange, and brown. But it does have black and white writing on the cover. And I think the letters inside the little robot figure in the top right corner are yellow.
Eleanor Oliphant looks good for a white cover. Or Orange writing on the cover!

Paula, unfortunately the captain's group voted your cover as maybe yellow. But that does mean we can use it for the yellow cover! And mine works for Orange!
I want give everyone an idea of how creative we can be. Here are my examples. Only #3 was deemed not to work. Because we already have a color task, mostly based on the color of the drink. But if you can justify a cover color, like in #2, then it works! The second book for each cocktail can tie into the either the drink, or the character it's named for.1. I haven’t read/seen the Witches of Eastwick. But Google informs me that Daryl van Horne is the Devil. If I have an author named Angel, can I connect to the drink as Devil/angel?
2. I couldn’t remember Septimus (and quickly face-palmed when Google told me Stardust 😁). But he has blue blood. So would a blue cover work to connect a book to the drink?
3. This one is more than likely too far, because we already have a color task for each drink, but a cover color that matches the drink? So a second color cover?

Yeah it definitely is harder going from one to two, but my two year old is trying to be helpful. I haven’t had much luck with nursing though, I have been mostly pumping and using that.
I used a nipple shield for the first few months with each of mine. They say you should only use it for a few days, but my milk didn’t dry up using it. It helps little mouths latch on. It might help you if that is your problem. Otherwise, a lactation consultant can do wonders!

With my first I got really depressed and discouraged about the latching problems and not being able to nurse and having the baby blues made it all worse so I didn’t want that to happen this time too, which is mostly why I’ve been pumping so I don’t get discouraged and upset about baby not latching but I will have to try the nipple shield, thank you!

Each drink requires 2 books, not one book that fits both tasks. For each drink, one task is cover color or writing on cover color and the other task is relating to the drink in someway. I'll put your's down for the red cover. I actually had someone dress up as Pennywise for Halloween in my last book, so I used that for relating to the drink. :)
