The Count of Monte Cristo—make sure you get a good translation! It was so rewarding because by the end I knew the family histories of many characters and I was SO INVESTED in them because of that. It was like no other reading experience.
998 pages: Eragon book 4: InheritanceI have read Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix but my edition wasn't 1022 pages, more like 860-890.
Kristin Lavransdatter by Sigrid Undset. I listened to it as an audio book, 49.5 hours. 1144 pages. I loved it!
not sure if this counts but i read the 50 shades trilogy in like a box set so it was all combined with a total of 1,616 pages!
Under the Dome by Stephen King, 1074 pages (I still can't believe I did that; I'm often intimidated by long books).

I also read Shogun but didn't recall it being that long."
I just checked and Shogun is 442,603 words, alm..."
Thanks for checking that!
“The Stand” By Stephen King, specifically the complete and uncut edition which was something like 1400 pages… i’ve read it twice and LOVED IT.
I once made a point of reading books that had to top 1000 pages. Cannot say what the longest single book was. Then there is the issue of books that tend to be bound separately , but are intended as a single long read.Just to get them out there
War and Peace page counts vary but usually over 1000
and the books in the
In Search of Lost Time listed as in 7 parts or as a
Novel sequence by Marcel Proust Page count at or over 3000
FWIW I have a source that says this is officially the world's longest book.
Also FWIW I have re read W and P at lest 4 times, and will re read it again, on part because there is a new, perhaps more true to Tolstoy edition. Maercel Proust, I made it though once and cannot imagine trying to do that again.
I think kingdom of ash was my longest one too. Some of the tamora pierce books ive read have been long though.
