spoilerr!!

do you think jeremy set verity up? cuz he himself wasnt a saint...he killed not only verity but also 2 ppl in the extra chapter just because they saw him with lowen...do u think he set verity up?
also you are telling me he read lowen's books which arent that popular but did not read verity's? did not have any idea about her books at all?
hard for me to believe

he just gave off the villain vibes to me

It was weird that Jeremy read the manuscript and when Lowen told him about it he didn't say anything. Plus he murdered Verity... how can a normal personal just murder his wife. I think he manipulated the situation in front of Lowen.

Persilvle Yes, that makes sense. He probably killed Verity because he didn't want her to speak up about what he did to her. ...more

I am team manuscript. Being team manuscript you can't really believe that Jeremy had something to set up Verity if you are team manuscript.

Yes he was acting weird, but not too weird. Think about it, this man was taking care of Verity. If he knew about the Manuscript why would you care for someone who did horrible things.

Then he ended up killing up Verity with Lowen. TBH, If I were verity, and if the manuscript was wrong and the letter was true. I would have told the Nurse, I would have told Lowen as soon as soon as I got caught off the bed was seen crawling back. Verity Did not put up a fight to let her side be heard.

I think that the concept and the plot of the book was awesome but the more I think about it...the more I feel that the book focused more on the smut and gave us readers unnecessary information...rather than making it a psychological thriller with no lose ends...but again it's typical of Colleen hoover to just add loads of smut into a book...this book would've done so well if it was only written as a psychological thriller and there were more horror elements...and verity's obsession

I feel like Jeremy was not as innocent as we were led to believe, but I also feel as though that the women were both, in a way ,unreliable narrators and in turn, offered readers distorted perceptions of Jeremy. I also feel that with his understanding of what reality is, we never fully got the real Jeremy because he was acting off of what he believed to be true. I believe the real Jeremy was ultimately the one that was very reactionary.

I definitely thought he was suspicious in the beginning for sure. How does he randomly cross paths w her? I mean yes they were heading to the same place but idk. Maybe Jeremy really wanted to be a father and so he found Lowen and made a plan? He was attracted to her mind bc he read her books but he didnt read his wifes bc he didnt want to be in her mind? Maybe his plan was to make her fall in love w him and have Verity still live there in bed for Crew? Also what was he doing upstairs the whole time when he wasnt w Crew outside or w Lowen if he didnt work and if the nurse was there? All questions no answers😭
