Share with us a few of your favorite book covers from the books you read in 2023 (genre and year of publication don't matter; the only prerequisite is that is must be a book you read in 2023 or are in the process of reading).

David | 123 comments I'll echo one of Stacia's selections, the cover of Hangman, from Belkis Ayón's collagraph La Cena.

Luke (korrick) This isn't the edition of The Immoralist by André Gide that I read this year, but I'm always a sucker for Penguin Modern Classics.

I've seen that Sean Michaels cover pop on a few best-of-cover lists for the year.

Thanks for the link, David!

I can see why you like this Gide cover, Aubrey.

Some of my favorites...

The Bone House is certainly attention getting.
Here are mine:
Camp Damascus by Chuck Tingle Japanese Tales of Mystery & Imagination by Edogawa Rampo We Are Here to Hurt Each Other by Paula D. Ashe Whalefall by Daniel Kraus The Cormorant by Stephen Gregory A Haunting on the Hill by Elizabeth Hand

P.S. How do you make the covers show up larger in the post?

Those are some good and creepy ones, Whitney.

For larger images, I go to the book's page on GR, right-click on the larger cover image, select "Copy image address", and then put that address in this HTML line:
img src="IMAGE-ADDRESS-HERE"
You'll need to add the the opening (<) and closing (>) brackets and keep the URL in between the quotation marks. Same as you would do with images you want to use from elsewhere on the internet.
