SOLVED. Childrens Myths and Legends book with main character called Cormoran. [s]

This is probably an old book. It has black and white illustrations and was a series of stories about myths and legends around the UK. It was a kids book and was quite weighty. There was one story called the children of lyr another about a seal called selkie and another about cornish gorse. Each story had a character who was a boy called cormoran. My daughter read it when she was much younger, shes 19 now. We had it in hardback and the main book was blue. She lost the cover and cant remember what was on it or what the book was called. Id love to find it for her again. It could possibly be about cornish myths and legends.
