It says 41 pages, but the book has 416!

World Cat (our preferred site for confirming page counts) has this one at 408 pages. Can you tell me what (if anything) is on pages 409-416 of your copy? Some things we count & some things we don't.

Thanks for your reply :-) Actually, my copy has 412 pages. Strange.

The essays go on until page 395. At page 397-400 there's a list of notes and sources.
p. 401: sources of illustrations
403-404: english sources
405-408: afterword+bibliography of the (dutch) translators
409-412: illustrations (color prints of paintings mentioned in text)
