Apologies for the last posting! We were traveling, but now that our journey's at an end, Elza and I are playing catch-up. So! How was your November? Did you uncover any great middle grade reads that you can share with the rest of us?

My personal favorites from last month include A Field Guide to Getting Lost by Joy McCullough, in which two kids with unique circumstances have to get used to the idea that they might soon become step-siblings. And in anticipation of the release of the fifth book in the Myrtle Hardcastle series, I caught up by reading books 3 and 4 (both of which fit neatly on my Bingo board for MGCarousel). This is one of my favorite MG mystery serieses.

I learnt they are much more dangerous than two horse ones. Even the best men could get killed, so for a girl, back in those days, of course, is out of the question. If you love horses, you’ll enjoy this book.
