Aly (lyanarty) | 42 comments Neverrrrr. Like once I start reading one my mind has to stay in that world of the book. I dont even rly like switching series😅. The book has to have my full emotions sucked in it

Artemis~Ebonie (Inactive) | 65 comments I tend to read 2-3 books at a time but only if I have good reason. One's for my enjoyment, one's for school, and sometimes if I preordered a book and have received it I'll start reading immediately.

message 56: by Mary Vandevenne (new)

Mary Vandevenne | 4 comments I usually have three or four I’m reading

message 57: by Kerry (new)

Kerry Pickens I usually read several books at a time, and I started a system where I read the first thirty pages of each book. The ones I find engaging I keep reading and the other ones I do not finish. This system keeps me from caring about finishing every book as I always have a better choice to read.

message 73: by Shawna (new)

Shawna Finnigan (sugoishawn) | 120 comments No because if I read more than one at a time, I have a hard time keeping the plots apart in my brain

message 74: by Heidi_2811 (new)

Heidi_2811 (inkerann) Sometimes, I have had many books in reading at the same time, but now I try to keep it at two: one fiction and the other one is a non-fiction book.

message 81: by Azari (new)

Azari (azarvyx) | 25 comments yes, I'll read 2-3 books when I'm reading a thick, 800+ page fantasy book. I'll usually read books that are 200-300 pages long

message 82: by Nami (new)

Nami Lian (namilian) | 6 comments Sometimes.. depends on the genre and how thick the books. Once i read 2 books at the same time, 1 book about self improvement and another book is fiction fantasy

message 83: by RAGHAVENDRA S K (new)

RAGHAVENDRA S K | 1 comments sometimes I am very impatient, I can't wait to complete a book to move to another one and hence I end up reading 2

At times, I make it a point to read one book in morning and one at night

message 84: by Tarynla☾ (new)

Tarynla☾ | 80 comments Sometimes. If I’m really impatient, two books at the same time and other times I’ve juggled an audiobook in the mix.

message 85: by Lexy (new)

Lexy Showers (lexyshowers) | 4 comments I cannot read more than one book at a time. I have such a bad memory that even when I read two or three books one after the other in say a week’s time I will literally get the stories all mixed up. I’ve read 27 books this year and I truly don’t think I could give an accurate synopsis of any of them because only one story can truly live in my head (character names especially) at a time. I finish books typically within a week of starting them if they keep my attention so I’ve never had a need to start a second. I do read Harry Potter with my boyfriend at night and go a long time in between reading them or even in between chapters but with HP it’s easy because I know those stories inside and out.

message 86: by _ReadObituaries (new)

_ReadObituaries (eiffeltowerdemonstres) | 1 comments Yes! I'm generally reading between 3 and 5 books at a time. As a mood reader, it's a fine balance between too many and having to DNF and come back later and actually enjoying the process of balancing

message 87: by Taylor (new)

Taylor Lebel | 2 comments yes

between rage and serenity | 3 comments Absolutely I think I’m reading at least nine right now my attention span can’t really take one book at a time

˚✧ ゚ Julia ˚✧ ゚ | 6 comments I think I’m reading like 10 at the moment hahah

message 90: by Lúcia (new)

Lúcia Parreira | 4 comments yes I read

message 91: by William (new)

William Cheney (william_cheney) | 31 comments I generally am reading several books at a time plus am listen to a couple on audio. One in the car and I go to sleep listening to a favorite (John Conroe books) at night that I have read and listened to several times.

message 92: by Mariah (new)

Mariah | 14 comments I read more than one book. I started doing that in middle school when I had to read a book for English class so I would have another book that I chose to read. I thought if I have to read The Outsiders for class then I'll read Harry Potter at the same time

message 93: by Mila (new)

Mila | 56 comments max. 3 books (two physical), maybe one eBook

message 94: by Kindle Jenner (new)

Kindle Jenner | 90 comments I do but not often and only if Im having a hard time getting through or into another book. I don’t like to dnf books so if I’m having a hard time getting into one/finishing one, I’ll set a goal of like 3 chapters a day and then simultaneously read something I know I’ll more than likely like.
