A.D. Ellis | 23 comments Fairest of All is my book. It was added automatically or by someone who is not me. It was put under A.D. Ellis, but not MY A.D. Ellis (mine has an extra space, I believe). I was waiting to add it until I could add the actual cover, so I wish it hadn't been added already.
Can it be moved to my actual Goodreads page? Once it's there, can I edit it?
Please and thank you for any help you can give.

Liralen | 8378 comments Done. It might take a while for updates to show.

Bot imports are automatic, for better and for worse; the only way to prevent them is to add books (with ISBN/ASIN) before the bot can get to them.

A.D. Ellis | 23 comments When I've done that in the past, the book ends up getting added anyway under the wrong A.D. Ellis. Is it better to do that and just ask that they be combined?
Thank you for your help.

If you add it with the extra space (or add directly from your dashboard), it should land on your profile. However, every new edition with a new ISBN or ASIN can be added by the bots unless it's manually added first—so if you'd manually added the hardcover but not the Kindle edition (for example), chances are that a bot will find it and put it on the wrong profile.

Up to you whether you find it easier to add new books ASAP or to post here and ask for editions to be moved/combined as needed.
