message 3: by Susannah (new)

Susannah Cruz Batres | 1 comments I think that I am also a really slow reader especially when I am reading a book in English because I speak, read and write Spanish better.

message 4: by Sarah Lehman (new)

Sarah Lehman (sdelgado8404) | 116 comments It depends on what I am reading. Some books go faster than others.

message 5: by Kar (new)

Kar somewhere in between if I start getting tired of a book or series I'll be slower but when I start them I'm quicker otherwise I'm in an in-between pace

message 6: by Blue (new)

Blue Coyote | 1 comments when i plan to finish a book in a couple of days then i read pretty fast. if i take my time i take forever

message 7: by Rashu (new)

Rashu I used to be a fast reader and i could finish a book almost in one sitting. But now, it takes 1 to 2 weeks to finish a book, sadly :(

message 8: by Rim_reads (new)

Rim_reads | 80 comments Depends on the book. Some books I can finish quite fast while some books take ages

message 9: by Casey (new)

Casey (casey_mc92) | 17 comments It depends on the book for me, but I tend to land somewhere in the middle

Cle (Taylor's Version) (cleeos) | 5 comments I'm usually fast but it depends a lot on the book

message 13: by Percy (new)

Percy The Angel (percydiangelo) | 24 comments it depends on the book and what's going on around me

message 14: by Rio (new)

Rio | 9 comments depends on the type of book, but usually a slow reader. even slower of it's a classic, and a bit faster if it's something with less complicated language.

message 15: by Percy (new)

Percy The Angel (percydiangelo) | 24 comments im relatively fast, especially when i can fully immerse myself into the story with no distractions

message 16: by Vanessa (new)

Vanessa (vanessacumberlandcountypa) Slow reader over here!

message 17: by Christine (new)

Christine Mathieu | 948 comments In the 1980's and 1990's I was still a fast reader, but now I'm happy if I can accomplish 30 pages per hour. I wish I could read much more!

message 18: by Cheryl (new)

Cheryl Currie | 37 comments It all depends on the book for me, if the book gets to me i can be really fast but if im not into the story it can take me a while. Generally though i would say i was a somewhere in between

message 19: by Christine (new)

Christine Mathieu | 948 comments If a book is really compelling, I make time for it and abandon my husband and all chores. :)

message 20: by Samantha (new)

Samantha | 7 comments Slow reader though can read a little faster depending on what book I'm reading.

message 21: by Lady (new)

Lady Dazy (mrscsmith) I am normally a fast reader and this can be annoying if I am enjoying a book and it ends too soon.

message 22: by Elythrim (new)

Elythrim Depends on the book but usually I read YA really fast

message 23: by Cecilia (new)

Cecilia Baker | 16 comments It depends on the book. I tend to read pretty quickly but I only read on my lunch break at work. That gives me 60 minutes to read and I can do a lot of reading in that time.

message 24: by Wayne (new)

Wayne Bilow | 4 comments I read on the treadmill for 2 hours a day.

message 25: by كوثر (new)

كوثر (alkaoutar444) | 6 comments Sometimes I am a fast reader , sometimes I am slow reader , it depends on the book.

message 26: by tania (new)

tania | 62 comments slow asf and it's frustrating :(

message 27: by [deleted user] (new)

I don't know if I can ever say I was a fast reader. I used to be able to go at a reasonable speed. I think my eyes and now that I am older I am slower :( I think that is another reason I have to have 3 to 4 books going at once. There are so many books so little time.

message 28: by Rohan (new)

Rohan Depends on what I'm reading. But recently I've started to read slower I find I enjoy it more! Sometimes I pause and purposefully take breaks to allow the story to sink in. You know how weekly releases on streaming platform sustain more interests than instant Netflix dumps?
It's like that for me.

message 29: by Tracy (new)

Tracy Wood (49320479-tracy-wood) | 1 comments I was always a fast reader when I was younger but I've definitely slowed down as I've got older, unfortunately.

message 30: by Shannon (new)

Shannon Green-Kingery | 70 comments It depends on what I am reading. If something is dense, disturbing or thought-provoking, I tend to slow down and even stop reading so I can digest and consider what I have read. Some books on the other hand are easy reads and I zip through those.

message 31: by Tanja (new)

Tanja | 315 comments I'm a slow reader but I have legasthenia, so if I want to enjoy and understand the book I have to slow down. Don't worry, a slow reader spends more time with a beloved book;)

Clara 𐙚 🇵🇸 (clara17) | 272 comments It depends on the book I’m reading and if have time, if need to study…

message 33: by Honey (new)

Honey | 2 comments It depends on my mood and what I'm reading. Usually though I am a pretty quick reader. Especially after getting my Kindle, I've been flying through books much quicker than I used to!

Caroline very fast when I'm focused, medium when I don't care

message 36: by Lani (new)

Lani Putthoff | 91 comments Depends. I tend to read really fast and then have to go back because I missed some details. Other times I like to take it slow.

message 37: by Yannah (new)

Yannah | 1 comments I‘m a fast reader but when the book is a little bit boring than I’m reading slower than usually

Natalie Clauson it depends on my mood. Most times, I like to take my time to enjoy a book unless I don't like it than it's really slow but if I get way into the book then I'm fast
