I also can’t remember the name of the author either. I’m sure I wrote it down but I must’ve misplaced it. Anyway the plot is about a single mother whose ex husband assaults her after dropping their son off. She’s rescued by her gay neighbours. Later she meets a strange young girl who seems to know a lot about her and I think her background is mysterious. I started to read the beginning online and it got me hooked. Like I said I can’t remember the name of the book or the author. I don’t think it was written that long ago, probably about 2018 though I can’t be sure. Any help would be MUCH appreciated!
