I'm fairly new to goodreads and i was wondering if i re-read a book does that still count for my reading challenge for this year? sorry if this is a silly question i'm just kind of confused :)

I'm wondering the same thing, but I would imagine so because you would have updates of it from this year if that makes sense

It does count I’ve reread some books several times and the do count towards the challenge

Thanks for the answers I'm glad it does count as i dont have many books i havent read yet that i feel like reading currently so i think i will just re-read something! :)

It counts, but the reread system on Goodreads is a little messy. Sometimes it will mess up and say I've read a book more times than I have. And everyone once in a while it will entirely delete my review when I mark a new reread. I'm desperately hoping Goodreads fixes their reread system soon!
