Nice mix, Vikki.
I definitely added Nesbo on my tbr. I need to get caught up.
I have quite a few "first in series" for the rest of your choices; or at least, most of them.
Good luck and happy reading. :)

It's always good to work on those series. I'm almost finished with Kinsey Milhone, not that I want to be, mind you.. Enjoy them all.

It's been ages since I read O Is For Outlaw so about time I pick up this series again!

Yes, I've seen it. Think it's just hardback at the moment but I will be getting it in paperback :) I love these books, been gradually working through the series

First book finished from this list. The Ice Child by Camilla Lackberg. As usual with this series it didn't disappoint. Book 10 is already waiting on my shelf
2nd book finished - The Postscript Murders. I always enjoy Elly Griffiths' books. I have to admit I still prefer the Ruth Galloway series but I'm enjoying the Harbinder Kaur series so far and have the next 2 books waiting on my shelf. I loved the literary content of this book with authors, publicists, a literary festival etc. And some nice twists and turns.

Yeah, this series is one of those first-in-a-series, that I have. So many, so many... I may need to order this one. I never see her at the UBS. Ggrrr

I actually only have the 1st 2 books on my Kindle. Must get the paperbacks. Books 3-9 were Christmas presents some years ago. And I finally bought book 10 in Glasgow last summer. I do come across her books in Waterstones shops here.

If you keep an eye on this link, Elly Griffiths is the main speaker in April and it's online: https://gwylcrimecymrufestival.co.uk/

Thank you! I've heard her speak online before and she's very interesting, and easy to listen to. I'll keep an eye on this

That was a great gift! Especially when you only have to get the first two.

3rd book finished
A Court Of Thorns & Roses - this series has been on my to-read list for a while. This book was on my 2023 challenge but was 1 of the books I didn't tick off for my 12.
I don't know what took me so long to dip into this book. Within a few chapters I was hooked and have enjoyed it. I found the world interesting, and the characters. I'll definitely be reading the rest of the series. I keep hearing the 2nd book is the best, so I hope to read it within the next couple of months

4th book finished - The Soul Killer
4 stars for this one. It's been a while since I read the 1st book in series. I soon remembered the characters and references to what happened in the 1st book.
My first thoughts on the killer were wrong but I think we were being obviously directed to the wrong person. Once I eliminated that person I guessed correctly.

Sounds good, so I added book 1. Each book has an average rating of 4+ stars; so, I am ready, willing and able.
Kudos on your progress, Vikki!

5th book finished - The Atlas Paradox
I ended up giving it 4 stars but I couldn't quite decide what I thought of it. For 400 pages, there didn't seem to be a lot happening. Some characters were more interesting than others.
I preferred the 1st book in the trilogy. I already have the 3rd book so I will read it, but I'm hoping for something a bit more with it.
