It's better to start a new thread for new unrelated requests

Τελχίνας (aaraigathor) | 347 comments Thank you David! Why it suits you having thousands of new threads of a few dozens of reader's reporting, instead of one thread for each member? Each time with a new post our threads come in front. I really don't understand...

David Raz (davidraz) | 13077 comments There are several reasons. First, the only one who would answer you on this thread is me, while on a new thread, any of the superlibrarians can help you. Second, when you post on this thread, I get an email immediately, which is what I would want for an answer to an old request, but not for a new request. Third, even if you don't agree to the good reasons above, every forum has its rules and these are the rules on this forum.

Τελχίνας (aaraigathor) | 347 comments I don't have problem with that, I'm just curious because it appears like a huge waste of space and if someone wants to find something in forum after sometime he won't. Ok, new threads on deleting titles then. Thanks again!

As a side note, sometimes I use the "search discussion posts" feature on the right of the page for keywords or for my own name to see previous comments on threads.

Τελχίνας (aaraigathor) | 347 comments Of course there is that tool too! But I mean something I've read on someone's thread that didn't had time to answer or to search for, that time and I want to find it again 1-2 days later. That information should be missed in pages instead of a few threads in the same page if each member created and used his own. Like the huge projects where librarians take over in their own forum. I don't speak Engish very well and I hope you understand what I say. But it's ok... If you want to work this way I will follow your suggestions.
