Lisa Grønsund | 6163 comments Good luck with your goals, Chrissie!
Are there any books you're most looking forward to reading in 2024?

Chrissie (haru_ran) | 1077 comments Thanks, Lisa :)

So far I'm actually looking forward to finally read my first book of T.J. Klune.

Lisa Grønsund | 6163 comments Uuuh, exciting! What will you be reading?

T.J. Klune is kinda hit or miss for me (apparently). I really liked The House in the Cerulean Sea, but was underwhelmed by Under the Whispering Door.

I hope you have a great first experience with his books!

Chrissie (haru_ran) | 1077 comments Probably The House in the Cerulean Sea or The Bones Beneath my Skin for starters. I've actually been meaning to read him for a while, but 2024 will finally be the year!

Thanks! I'm really curious how my experience will be.

Is there anything you're looking forward to in reading next year?

I haven't really done any research for anticipated releases just yet. But I know with 150% certainty I will pick up the newest Stuart Turton: The Last Murder at the End of the World, the moment it drops.

If you haven't read Turton's works before, and you enjoy group discussions, I definitely recommend joining the group read for The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle in January - if you have the time, ofcourse. Not because his books need to be read in order or anything, but it's really a fantastic book :)

I hope you're having a great December.
Happy Holidays and Happy New Year (once we get to it)

Lisa Grønsund | 6163 comments Hi Chrissie,
I was just stopping by, and wanted to say congratulations in advance :) Also, it seems like you're doing great so far, reading-wise.

I hope the good streak carries on throughout the year. Looking forward to seeing what else you'll be reading in the months to come :)
Happy Sunday!
