It's been awhile since I've listened to a book read by George Guidall, and I miss his voice. Off to request The Kill Artist by Daniel Silva, which he apparently narrates. This series is on my list so here's my chance.

yes- and heart palpitations!

Actually read a couple of books this month along with some audios. Here are my November reads:
Good Reads
Drowning - T.J. Newman
Intense disaster thriller with lots of action and the type of competent characters who you would want on your side. Listened to the audio version which was narrated by Steven Weber and Laura Benanti who both were very good.
People of Darkness - Tony Hillerman
The first book in the series to feature Jim Chee, this was an enjoyable audio that wove Navajo mythology into an engaging mystery plot. The audio narration was masterfully handled by George Guidall.
The Bigger They Come - A.A. Fair
First book in the series published in 1939, young Donald Lam needs a job desperately and is hired by Bertha Cool to work at her detective agency. The plot has many twists and turns and the main characters made an effectively odd couple.
4:50 from Paddington - Agatha Christie
Another well done and entertaining Miss Marple audio which was narrated by Joan Hickson.
OK Read
There Goes Gravity: A Life in Rock and Roll - Lisa Robinson
While parts of this memoir by the long time rock journalist were interesting, overall it was pretty superficial and just kind of glossed her over 40 years of interviewing and partying with some of the biggest stars.
