SOLVED. YA Fantasy about a girl who can control plants. [s]

I read this book around 2006-2010. I have always remembered it as a series, but I'm starting to think it's possible it was just one novel. The main character's name starts with Z, maybe Zoe? I think the title was her name or had her name in it. She has magic powers where she can make plants grow quickly. She lives in a beautiful world where the streets are paved out of crystals/gems. Or maybe she travels to that world?
I seem to remember that she was unique in having these powers.
I tried searching for it a few years ago, to no avail. I can't remember that many details about the book(s) anymore, but my memory of it is associated with a happy feeling.
