Honestly a lot of contemporary romance will fit this description, just stay away from sports/military/western romance and dark romance lol. Check out Emily Henry, Hannah Bonham-Young, Julie Olivia, BK Borison, Christina Lauren, and Abby Jimenez for some sensitive MMC's! If you like the biblical story of Joseph, then you may be interested in the book , "Victory," from the Kemet Island Series. The idea of the story came from the biblical Joseph story, but it branched out into a full change of time and characters. The time setting is during the era of pirates roaming the seas, etc... but is involves a romance from the woman who helps the Christian man. Anyway, yours truly is the author of this book :). If interested, I sure could use reviews on it since it's been recently published. Free on kindle unlimited till February 2024. :)
